Aula Toledo Spanish Language School

I liked my teachers, the personal lessons and the tips for Toledo I got when I arrived at the school.

My stay in Toldeo remains an unforgettable memory; the school has its biggest share in this. The excellent teaching provided a kind of framework for everything that remains valuable to me. Firstly, there is the personal commitment of the teachers in charge as well as that of those who support the school in the secretariat. A team carries out what this team teaches; there are personalities who love their job and know the importance of relationships as the basis for successful teaching. The teachers are prepared and have a wide range of methodology and didactics at their disposal. They have a broad horizon and know how to incorporate their personal connections and their knowledge of their culture and history (Toledo always as a point of reference) into the lessons - be it prepared or flexible in their spontaneity. This meant that my great learning success was guaranteed and my motivation was permanently high. Being able to start everyday (school) life with such motivated teachers simply gave me joy! I also had unique opportunities to attend lectures, guided visits to extremely interesting places, museums and events, some of which can only be passed on through a broad knowledge of the city and its structures. At the same time, these tips and mediations were also tailored to my needs. So I experienced the wealth of this city primarily through the commitment of my teachers and the interest in my "bienestar" on the part of the secretaries. So I always had the feeling that the school had to have a supporting, convincing mission statement - at least one was lived.

In short: only superlatives are good enough for the AULA in Toledo; there is no need for a restriction!

When I suddenly only had an hour left to leave the Hotel Santa Isabel, as a misunderstanding was probably responsible for the fact that I was left without accommodation for two nights, the secretariat went to great lengths to help me find a pleasant way to bridge the gap (before school officially started!). When school started, I had a pleasant room for the “remaining” 5 weeks, in the same hotel where I actually liked it. A lot of flexibility was needed again for my last night, when another misunderstanding with the hotel meant that I would have to leave the hotel on the last day of school (May 22nd). In addition, after my return (last Saturday, May 23, 2026), I had to contact the hotel again because I only discovered when I got home that I had also been charged for a daily breakfast (€ 5 each) for the last 33 days, although many times (like you) pointed out that I didn't want breakfast, was never in this room and I was seen leaving the hotel every day without having had breakfast first. So on May 22nd I paid 33 x € 59.- + 5.- = € 2,112.- or CHF 2,046.-. After my complaint, the hotel reception justified itself. I tried again to explain the facts to them again...; your answer is still pending. Would you be able to take care of the matter...?!

In short: These misunderstandings are the only negative thing about my stay! I don't want to judge where the error(s) lie. A quadruple composition of those involved (hotel, school, you as an agent and me as a customer) certainly increases the likelihood of such discrepancies.

The teachers had been very skilled and very well experienced. The class size had been small that enabled the possibility to improve speaking skills. The school is placed in the center of Toledo and the environment was very nice in the old town. Different and interesting activities had been offered and I liked them a lot.
Thanks to the great support of the school I got a nice room in an hotel nearby - very cosy.

I had a week of individual lessons with Cristina. She was professional, friendly and her lessons were interesting. She knew my strengths and weaknesses and tailored her lessons to my level and my interests. Maite was also very helpful and welcoming. It was a very good experience and I wish I had more time in Toledo to continue my Spanish learning

I took intensive course for 7 weeks of beginner course. It was only me and few peoples in the class, so it was easy to ask the question to teachers. Every teachers were nice and they taught us not only about Spanish, they also taught they're recommend restaurant information and Spanish culture as well. Which was interesting for me to hear. We didn't do so much activities than I thought but we had chocolate churros party couple times and had the opportunity to meet different peoples. I'm glad that I chose this School and met my classmates and our teachers. These experiences will be the good memories of my life. This school is definitely my recommendation! Thanks a lot.

My teacher [Isabel] was more than friendly. She perfectly understood my difficulties with the Spanish language and really tried to help.

There were no facilities or activities available to me as I was the only student although Isabel did take me on a short tour of Toledo [at her own cost].

I cannot fault the beautiful house where I stayed. Mari [and her husband Paco] were both very kind and she is an excellent cook.
The only problem with the school is that Toledo is built on a mountain and you must walk up really steep inclines to get anywhere. Going home is easier because it's downhill! Another difficulty is that the roads do not have a tarmac surface. It's either cobble stones and pebbles or both [and very few pavements] However, I found Toledo to be my second favourite city in Spain after Seville. Both are highly recommended, especially Seville.

There's something like 2 cathedrals, 4 churches, 2 convents and a monastery in Toledo, so expect to hear church bells! Loads of museums. All this in a very small area - maybe half a mile wide.
Absolutely no complaints about my week with Aula Toledo.

Me and my wife Gertrude had our classes from 04/25 until 04/29. Both of us were in a separate one-to-one class and I can really say that the teachers were competent, friendly and responsive to all our questions. We can always recommend this school, because it was an educational and interesting week for us.

Isabel is a very knowledgeable teacher, with a passion for language and history. Maite is very welcoming and they give a lot of tips for places to go and explore Toledo. Will go back.

I was the only pupil on my level, so I was teached 1:1. The 2 women teachers I had, were very engaged and competent (not only in language). I could set the subjects I was interested in (politics, culture, history, society etc). It was a very good exchange of meanings and the main weight was on speaking in spanish language - that was what I was looking for. The ambience during the lessons was very familiar, friendly und interesting. I was often astonished that the two lessons were already over. The teachers were very agile minded.
If necessary they worked in the grammar I needed.
I liked very much, that I became aware of linkc to different cultural events in town.
Small critics: the fotocopies I got were not always in good quality.

The housing was very good: good comfort and not far from the school - 12 minutes on foot.

I came to the school as stranger and I left it with many positive experiences as a friend.
I would repaeat my viste without reservations. I can recommend the school to everybody.

We were very pleased and satisfied with the service and structure of the Aula Toledo school. It was an unforgettable experience for my son. Maite is very attentive and welcomed us with much care. The professor, Sergio prepared the classes according to the age and previous knowledge of João, who could learn more of the Spanish language in a relaxed but very productive way.
